US-based Osprey has launched Activ-R, a product on the water bottle front for school students.
Activ-R is made entirely from I'm Green Medium Density Polyethylene, which is said to be 100% biobased verified by ASTM D6866, which is derived from Brazilian sugar cane ethanol.
It has zero impact on the amazon rainforest or food production, according to the company.
For every ton of I'm Green plastic produced, 2.5t of CO2 is captured and locked away.
According to Osprey Activ-R is fully recyclable, tough and withstands a lot of wear and tear.
